Maximum Flight Altitude is Limited

Q: I have purchased UgCS license but my routes are still limited to 120m in altitude.

You can change the maximum altitude in the profile of your aircraft. Run UgCS, go to Main Menu - Profile - find your drone in the list - click ‘Edit’ and change "Max. altitude AMSL, m" or "Max. altitude AGL, m" to the desired value. Then click ‘Save’. Also, when creating the route, check that in Route Parameters “Maximum altitude above ground, m” is set to the desired value.

Q: When uploading the route, I get a message that the altitude is still limited to 120m.

The UgCS profile affects only the flight planning. When flying the route, you may need to adjust the maximum altitude in the RC apps:

  • DJI Pilot 1,2
  • UgCS for DJI
  • UgCS Companion

NOTE: The maximum altitude should be changed in the native drone app, DJI Pilot 1,2 first, and then in UgCS for DJI and UgCS Companion.
