Q: Can I fly offline?

There are several steps to prepare to fly with UgCS in offline mode.

• Download maps into UgCS desktop for offline use according to the instruction »»»
• For connection between an Android device and the UgCS desktop, you can use a dedicated WiFi router that does not require an internet connection to create a WiFi network. Any mobile hotspot device should work. Also, an indoor router would be fine if you manage its power resources.
• As the Android device will not have an internet connection too, to have maps visible on the Android device, you can select map provider Geoserver in UgCS for DJI settings, Map provider, choose Geoserver map.
