Installing UgCS server components on Linux

Transfer file ugcs-server-xenial-Linux.deb to server.
The apt-get utility requires an internet connection.
Install.
Connect to the server and install package ugcs-server-xenial-Linux.deb

apt-get install openjdk-8-jdk
dpkg -i ugcs-server-xenial-Linux.deb
dpkg -i ugcs-geoserver-xenial-Linux.deb
apt-get install -f

Check UgCS server/geoserver status
Use the command: «service ugcs-server status» or «service ugcs-geoserver status»
If the service is running, a message will show: «Active: active (running)»

root@ucs-1:~# service ugcs-server status
ugcs-server.service - LSB: UgCS server

Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/ugcs-server; bad; vendor preset: enabled)

Starting and stopping UgCS server/geoserver
Commands: “service ugcs-server stop” and “service ugcs-server start” are shutting down and starting up ugcs service. Same commands for “ugcs-geoserver”

root@ucs-1:~# service ugcs-server stop
root@ucs-1:~# service ugcs-server start
