Flying offline

Q: Can I fly offline?

There are several preparation steps to fly in offline mode.

• Download maps on UgCS desktop for offline use, instruction is available here
• For connection between an Android device and UgCS desktop you can use a dedicated WiFi router that does not require an internet connection to create a WiFi network. Any mobile hotspot device should work, also indoor router would be fine if you manage power resources for it.
• As the Android device will not have an internet connection too, to have maps visible on the Android device, you can select map provider Geoserver in UgCS for DJI settings, Map provider, choose Geoserver map.
