How to do a preflight check
Preflight check is an important part of a mission, which includes visual inspection and estimation of flight.
- Make sure the drone has no visible damages
- Camera cover is removed
- SD card inserted
- Propellers are not damaged and rotate smoothly
- Batteries are fully charged and in good condition
- RC is fully charged
- RC antennas are set up
- Wind speed does not exceed the recommended maximum by the drone manufacturer
- Mobile device is fully charged
- Compass is calibrated
- GPS signal is strong enough
- RC signal is strong enough
- RC is in "P" mode
- People are within a safe distance from the drone
- Drone has no vibrations
